With over 17 years’ experience working with schools and groups of all ages exploring art and heritage, I can offer a range of workshops linked to the curriculum, theme or event. I am flexible to the needs of the group and can create joint projects, murals, workshops and residencies.

• Drawing exploring: Try your hand at mark making with different materials and sizes

• Illustration – ‘How to’. Learn how to use drawings to tell narratives and illustrate a poster, poem or story

• Drawing skills – Learn new skills to shade, develop line drawing skills, draw portraits, pattern or landscapes

• Illustrated envelopes and stories – Design delicate or vibrant designs onto envelopes and cards including poems and words

• Storyboards - Create a story and create characters

• Mixed media – Investigate your heritage

• My Town Boxes – social history and art

• Andy Goldsworthy inspired outside art

• Hula hoop and fence weaving

• All about me – Mask and person-centred artwork

Charges:

All workshops are £200 per day, £100 for half a day,

which includes preparation time.

Depending on the workshop, there may be an additional

charge for materials.

I am DBS checked and have Public Liability Insurance.

Health and Well being

​

During recent years I have combined arts and heritage with a health and well being focus. During projects and workshops, I develop connections and draw out memories and stories, through relaxed creative activities often using mark making and drawing. This has included working with a range of older people and schools, organising and delivering a range of creative practices linked to heritage themes, such as mono printing, collage, drawing, investigating objects, recreating artifacts, drawing and illustrating onto these. I am part of the regional Health and Well being group.

I am able to deliver, project manage and evaluate health related arts, heritage and health projects.
